We've saved our most challenging engineering projects (a robotic dog, motorized bug, race cars, and more) for this camp. All challenging for any connoisseur of LEGO Bricks. Students then use these projects (and more) to investigate engineering concepts.

Turtles and glitter—what could be more fun? Join us to create your very own turtle family. No experience needed! Each painter is $25 and includes an 11x14 canvas, all supplies, and step-by-step instruction. The sparkling water makes this painting shine! Parents are welcome to register and paint too. The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Instituteprovides everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The YouTube “vlogger”style presentation of the video brings a youthful and high-energy spirit to the program content alongwith handouts, demonstrations, and additional resources. At the end of class, the students will receivetheir certification card along with instructions to access a digital copy of the Child and BabysittingSafety (CABS) Student book. From getting started with your business, to collaborating with parentsand children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, CABS will help set you up for babysittingsuccess. Students must be present for the entire class and complete achievement of the corelearning objectives to receive certification valid for two years. Students attend this classindependently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen. This class is open to all students entering grades 4-12.
