This camp is for students going into grades 1-5. All skill levels are welcome. The YEL (Teach It!...Practice It!...Play It!) method keeps chess students progressing with 60+ chess lessons and thousands of puzzles as well as guided games and an end-of-the-week in-class tournament.

The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Instituteprovides everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The YouTube “vlogger”style presentation of the video brings a youthful and high-energy spirit to the program content alongwith handouts, demonstrations, and additional resources. At the end of class, the students will receivetheir certification card along with instructions to access a digital copy of the Child and BabysittingSafety (CABS) Student book. From getting started with your business, to collaborating with parentsand children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, CABS will help set you up for babysittingsuccess. Students must be present for the entire class and complete achievement of the corelearning objectives to receive certification valid for two years. Students attend this classindependently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen. This class is open to all students entering grades 4-12.

Ready to get creative with color? Join us for this day camp filled with fun crafts and activities all centered around exploring and mixing colors. Be sure to bring a white item (t-shirt, socks, or a bag) for a tie-dye project! A free lunch will be provided by the WAPS School Nutrition Department through funding from the USDA Summer Food Service Program. Pre-registration is required
