Clay: Rectangular Planter and Drainage Tray

Create a rectangular, red earthenware planter and tray for one or more of your favorite plants, using slab-building techniques, texturing, and colored slip! *Please note there is a $15 fee paid directly to the instructor at the time of class.

Island City Clayspace Workshops are for adults & teens aged 14+. Functional ceramic projects are food-safe and can be put in the dishwasher, microwave, and oven. Clay, use of tools, underglazes, bisque firing, glaze, and glaze firing are all included, as applicable. Workshops include detailed demos, and participants learn and practice clay-working skills. Workshops are suitable for both beginners & experienced clay artists. Fired project pick-up by arrangement.
