No reading required! *PLEASE NOTE* This class is a a shortened series unlike our normal ECFE classes that run 8 weeks or more. Due to this when selecting your sliding fee scale please cut your number in half so you will be charged properly for length of the class. For example: If your income is 80,000-89,999 and you would normally pay $81 per class, please choose the 40,000-49,999 option and pay $37 for this class. The mission of Key Kids is to provide a safe and enriching environment for every child to play and interact. Participants will experience caring staff who offer meaningful student learning and recreational opportunities designed to enhance a child’s social, physical, cognitive and recreational skills. School Year and Summer Key Kids is available to all families, regardless of residence or school district. School Year Key Kids Child Care is offered to children entering grades Pre-K - 4th grade. Summer Key Kids is for children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade. Children must be 5 years of age by June 1 and registered to attend Kindergarten in the fall in order to attend Summer Key Kids. When you submit your registration, you will receive an email notifying you that your contract is waiting for staff approval. Your child is NOT registered for Key Kids until you receive a second email stating your contract has been accepted. At that time, you will be billed the $40 registration fee. A $40 annual registration fee is charged per family - this includes both School Year and Summer programs. Let's Probate an Actual MN EstateFinanceIn this class we will walk-thru (in Depth) an actual Minnesota Probate Estate from the filing of the Application for Probate to the Final Accounts...and all the steps in between. Class participants will learn the entire process with current forms, Court and filing requirements, accounting and procedural steps, as well as the procedures for the sale and distribution of estate assets. We will also discuss the roles, responsibilities, and liabilities of a person who is appointed as the Executor/Personal Representative. The class will be filled with real-life examples and solutions to the multitude of issues involving a typical (or not typical) Minnesota Probate Estate. This class encourages questions: Is there a "reading of the Will"? What about personal items? Does the Executor get paid? What about estate bills and creditors? Minnesota & Florida Carry Permit TrainingCarry PermitCompletion of this course fulfills the training requirement for a Minnesota and Florida Permit to carry a handgun. THIS NEW CERTIFICATION IS ALSO REQUIRED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF THE RENEWAL APPLICATION OF AN EXISTING MN PERMIT. A one day course of state certified classroom and live range fire. Each student should provide eye & ear protection, unloaded and cased handgun and 50 rounds of factory ammunition. 22 rimfire is acceptable. NO SINGLE ACTION REVOLVERS. DO NOT BRING FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION INTO THE CLASSROOM. You are required to demonstrate safe competent firearms operation.Winter/Spring 2026
