It is available to beginner and experienced archers and will follow the NASP safety, instructional, and shooting format. Participants will use the Genesis bows and supplies provided by the club. CLAY: Fuctional, Fun TeapotArts & CraftsHave fun building this this half-sphere teapot during two workshops! All the elements of a teapot - body, lid, handle and spout - will be addressed so you can create a functional vessel. Explore a sculptural approach, creating a teapot that is a bird, other animal, human face, covered with vegetation, building, vehicle, etc. Or, decorate the dome shape with underglazes, using traditional teapot motifs (flowers, birds) or your own imagery. A $15 Materials Fee is paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of the workshop. Island City Clayspace Workshops are for adults & teenage 14+. Functional ceramic projects are food-safe and can be put in the dishwasher, microwave, and oven. Clay, use of tools, underglazes, bisque firing, glaze and glaze firing are all included, as applicable. Workshops include detailed demos, and participants practice clay-working skills. Workshops are suitable for both beginners & experienced clay artists. Fired project pick-up by arrangement.Fall 2025
