CLAY: Sculpted SkullArts & CraftsWaitlistFired in time to help celebrate Dia de los Muertes, and Halloween! You will sculpt a life-scale, hollow human skull in clay, using a high quality, medical model for reference. Keep it as a skull, or modify it to hold a candle. Finish the outside as a bone-like surface, or paint colorful patterns and images using underglaze. Clay, use of tools, colored underglazes, bisque firing, glaze, and glaze firing all included. A $15 materials fee is paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of the workshop. Island City Clayspace Workshops are for adults & teenage 14+. Functional ceramic projects are food-safe and can be put in the dishwasher, microwave, and oven. Each student should provide eye & ear protection, unloaded and cased handgun and 50 rounds of factory ammunition. 22 rimfire is acceptable. NO SINGLE ACTION REVOLVERS.
