Completion of this course fulfills the training requirement for a Minnesota and Florida Permit to carry a handgun. THIS NEW CERTIFICATION IS ALSO REQUIRED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF THE RENEWAL APPLICATION OF AN EXISTING MN PERMIT. A one day course of state certified classroom and live range fire. Each student should provide eye & ear protection, unloaded and cased handgun and 50 rounds of factory ammunition. 22 rimfire is acceptable. NO SINGLE ACTION REVOLVERS. DO NOT BRING FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION INTO THE CLASSROOM. You are required to demonstrate safe competent firearms operation.

This is a basic course for adults with little or no experience with firearms, as well as more experienced shooters. The live fire shooting exercise includes one-on-one coaching. Handguns and ammunition are provided. DO NOT BRING FIREARMS OR AMDMUNITION INTO THE CLASSROOM. *You may wish to pack a lunch.
