Have fun building this this half-sphere teapot during two workshops! All the elements of a teapot - body, lid, handle and spout - will be addressed so you can create a functional vessel. Explore texture in clay, and make three functional bowls! You'll drape stoneware slabs in slump molds and over hump molds. Some bowls will have feet and others will be flat-bottomed. A subtle relief can create a surprising sense of depth. Experiment with adding and subtracting clay to create a relief to hang on the wall. The outside shape of your relief can add to the theme, design, or image you focus on, and some negative space can create another dimension. Colored underglazes included. Do you have a Cricut and want to learn how to use it? This introduction class covers the Cricut Design Space software, how to find designs, what settings to use, basics on the cutter, and more. We'll create some custom vinyl stickers for everyone to take home.

Make a soft chunky blanket with your hands! Leave class with your created blanket. Great as a gift, or keep for yourself. Please register by December 1, 2025 and email linda.jacobs@winona.k12.mn.us with yarn color preference and which project you will be working on. There will be a materials fee of $49 for the blanket paid directly to the instructor at the time of class.

This Christmas scene, which includes birch trees, snowman, holly and cherries, lamp, cardinals and realistic rabbits will bring Christmas cheer to your home! There is a $45 material fee paid directly to the instructor at class. This is a 2 session class. If a third session is needed we will meet on Oct. 27th with an additional fee of $15.
