Completion of this course fulfills the training requirement for a Minnesota and Florida Permit to carry a handgun. THIS NEW CERTIFICATION IS ALSO REQUIRED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF THE RENEWAL APPLICATION OF AN EXISTING MN PERMIT. A one day course of state certified classroom and live range fire. Each student should provide eye & ear protection, unloaded and cased handgun and 50 rounds of factory ammunition. 22 rimfire is acceptable. NO SINGLE ACTION REVOLVERS. DO NOT BRING FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION INTO THE CLASSROOM. You are required to demonstrate safe competent firearms operation.
