Clay: Create a Skull Mug

Using a plastic, medical-quality, life-scale skull for reference, you will sculpt a functional mug that looks like a skull. Underglaze painting is available for those who allow time for it. Have some Halloween fun! Note: There is a $15 material fee paid directly to the instructor at the time of class.

Island City Clayspace Workshops are for adults & teenage 14+. Functional ceramic projects are food-safe and can be put in the dishwasher, microwave, and oven. Clay, use of tools, underglazes, bisque firing, glaze and glaze firing are all included, as applicable. Workshops include detailed demos, and participants practice clay-working skills. Workshops are suitable for both beginners & experienced clay artists. Fired project pick-up by arrangement.
