At this workshop we will discuss the importance of having an awareness of one's own cultural identity and views about difference, and the ability to learn and build on the varying cultural and community norms of students and their families.

11:15-12:15PM  - Reading Strategies

12:20-1:20 PM  - American Indian History

1:25-2:25 PM  - Cultural Competency

2:30-3:30 PM  - Mental Health Awareness

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Anyone who has a Minnesota Teaching License they want to keep current.

FEE: $25 per session which includes materials and CEU.

Teaching CEU - 1 hour per session.
